Transnational Face-to-Face Civic Education Programme & Study Visits – Molfetta (Italy)

Youth Voices from Rural Areas: Learn, Engage & Exchange in Molfetta

On 30–31 October 2026, the Youth4Change project will bring together young people, youth workers, educators, civil society organisations and local stakeholders in Molfetta, Italy, for two days of learning, exchange and local action.

Under the theme “Youth Voices from Rural Areas – Youth, Inclusion, Participation & Local Change,” the event will create a space to explore how young people can play a more active role in shaping inclusive, accessible and democratic communities.

Through interactive workshops, simulations, exchange of good practices and dialogue with local actors and decision-makers, participants will explore different approaches to youth participation and civic engagement. The programme will connect experiences from Molfetta and the wider Puglia region with perspectives from across Europe, encouraging participants to exchange ideas, learn from one another and reflect on how successful practices can be adapted to different local contexts.

At the heart of the event are the experiences, needs and perspectives of young people. Participants will explore challenges affecting youth participation, discuss inclusive approaches to local youth policies and put civic participation into practice through collaborative and creative activities.

The programme will also introduce local initiatives and good practices in youth outreach, inclusion and participation, while creating opportunities for direct exchange with decision-makers and professionals working with young people.
