Yout4Change

Transnational Events

The transnational events of the Youth4Change project bring together young people, youth workers, educators, municipalities, policymakers, and civil society organisations from across Europe to strengthen civic engagement, democratic participation, and active citizenship. They provide opportunities for intercultural exchange, mutual learning, structured dialogue, and cooperation, while empowering young people to share their perspectives, contribute to policy discussions, and play an active role in shaping the future of their communities, countries, and Europe.

Local & National Events

The local civic education workshops equip young people with the knowledge and skills needed to understand democratic processes and actively engage in civic life. Building on this learning, Youth Assemblies provide a space for participants to discuss key issues, exchange perspectives, and identify priorities affecting young people. These ideas are then further developed during Youth Hackathons, where participants co-create solutions and formulate policy recommendations to be presented to decision-makers.

Online Activities & Trainings

The project includes two Online Training of Trainers (ToT) programmes. The first equips youth workers, trainers, and educators with methodologies, tools, and resources to deliver civic education activities and promote active citizenship and civic engagement among young people. The second focuses on structured dialogue, providing participants with practical methods, case studies, and facilitation skills to support meaningful dialogue between young people and decision-makers and to lead local youth participation activities.
