International Debate Education Association (IDEA), based in the Netherlands and working globally, is a network of debate and youth organisations that empowers young people through debate education, critical thinking and civic participation. IDEA delivers trainings, youth exchanges, resources and structured dialogue activities that bring young people, educators and decision-makers together to discuss social issues in an inclusive, evidence-based way. IDEA equips young people with practical advocacy, communication and public speaking skills, helping them speak with policymakers and participate in democratic processes. In Youth4Change, IDEA will contribute expertise in debate-based learning, facilitation of structured dialogue events and training of trainers.
